On the quest to find the perfect keyboard, there is always the hope of finding the one that will be with us for a long time. I almost thought I had finally found it with this one, but alas, it's still a little short.

Quick unboxing: the outer box has the Mons Geek logo printed on it as well as the keyboard model number, which I chose to be purple. Opening the outer box, there's a piece of Styrofoam, a bilingual manual, a roll of duct tape, a white USB Type-C cable, a keycap extractor, a switch extractor, some PTFE spacers, an allen wrench, and a 2.4 GHz receiver.

The keyboard has a minimalist design with a full aluminum body and keycaps in a nice gradient color. The keyboard comes with AO cream yellow V3 Pro shafts, and compared to my old keyboard, it doesn't look too small despite the lack of number keys, thanks to the thicker bezel. The keyboard supports both Windows and Mac systems and offers USB Type-C, Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz connectivity.

However, I found the connection to be occasionally spotty when using the 2.4 GHz receiver, especially if there's no straight line of sight between the receiver and the keyboard. Additionally, to replace the switches you need to remove the keycaps first, which was a bit of an inconvenience for me. I think it would be more convenient to place the switches on the back or bottom of the keyboard.

Nonetheless, the overall texture of the keyboard is good, with no noticeable flaws. The keyboard is moderately weighted and feels good in the hand, but I might consider replacing the shafts as I prefer a quieter keyboard. The purple color also stands out and gives it an unusual look.

Overall, I'm very happy with the keyboard even though it leaves something to be desired.
